Dr. N. SreeKanth stands as a distinguished academician, researcher, administrator, and visionary leader in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering. With over 24 years of rich experience in teaching, research, academic administration, and institutional development, he has made remarkable contributions to engineering education and technological innovation.
Currently serving as Principal of Ravindra College of Engineering for Women (Autonomous), Kurnool, Dr. SreeKanth has demonstrated exemplary leadership in academic excellence, quality assurance, accreditation, research promotion, and institutional growth. Throughout his career, he has held several prestigious academic and administrative positions, including Dean – Administration, Head of Department, Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor in reputed engineering institutions.
Dr. SreeKanth earned his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, he brings a depth of expertise and insight to his role as Principal of Ravindra College of Engineering for Women. His M.Tech and B.Tech degrees further underscore his commitment to academic excellence and lifelong learning. His strong academic foundation and passion for research have enabled him to establish himself as an expert in emerging technological domains.
Dr. SreeKanth has also played a vital role in curriculum development, examination reforms, laboratory modernization, industry collaboration, and student mentoring. He has actively contributed to NBA, NAAC, Autonomous, and quality assurance initiatives while serving on several academic and administrative committees. His efforts have led to the establishment of advanced laboratories, research facilities, and industry-academia partnerships that have significantly enhanced institutional capabilities.
His professional excellence has been recognized through several prestigious awards and honors. Notably, he received the I2OR INDIA’s International Research Excellence Award 2026 and he received the “Best Teacher of the Year” Award at the Vedant Academics Bangkok Awards in 2019 and multiple Best Teacher Awards during his academic career. He secured an outstanding 93.77 percentile in GATE and has been consistently recognized for his exceptional teaching effectiveness and student mentorship. He serves as a reviewer for Springer’s Wireless Personal Communications journal and technical publications in Signals and Systems.
Dr. SreeKanth is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI), a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and a Member of IEEE. His professional affiliations reflect his commitment to advancing engineering education, research, and technological innovation.
Beyond his achievements, Dr. SreeKanth is widely respected as a mentor, motivator, and institution builder. His unwavering dedication to academic quality, research excellence, innovation, and student empowerment continues to inspire faculty members, researchers, and aspiring engineers. Through his visionary leadership and relentless pursuit of excellence, Dr. N.
