The motto of the Club is to conduct IT activities under the Club name and to imbibe the students with the Cream of IT and bring them close to the technology. This aids in gaining edge on IT apart from their academics. The student dynamicity, inner personality, ideas and other skills can be excavated and to promote them to future technical world.
Indian Institute of Engineers
IEI was established in 1920 in Madras (Chennai) with Sir Thomas R. J. Ward as the founding president and was formally inaugurated in 1921 by Lord Chelmsford, the then-Viceroy of British India. In 1935, it obtained the Royal Charter of Incorporation from KingGeorge V “to promote and advance the science, practice and business of engineering”. Fellows of the Institution of Engineers (India) are entitled to use the post-nominals FIE, and all life corporate members are “Chartered Engineers” (CEng).
The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI) is the national organization of engineering professionals in India.[1] IEI has over 0.5 million members[citation needed] from 15 engineering disciplines in 99 centers/chapters in India and overseas; it is the largest multi-disciplinary engineering professional society in the English-speaking world.
ISTE
Ravindra College of Engineering for women Kurnool provided a platform where thought provoking parley was held. The ISTE Faculty chapter’s of the twin colleges conducted a two day training programme on ”Formulation of Research and Development Initiatives for Engineering Faculty” under the aegis of ESCI here on 28th & 29th July 2014.
